Scouts to be honored Sunday
This Sunday is Scouting Sunday at Boston Avenue Church! Any youth or child who is part of Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts at any level, as well as those who belong to Campfire and other such organizations, is invited to come to worship in uniform Sunday. All who are involved in scouting will be recognized during both worship services.

Financial Peace class begins
Want to learn to manage personal finances in a very enjoyable way? Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University class is being offered at B.A. The first class began February 3, and another class is forming that will meet on a day other than Wednesday. FPU is a life-changing program that teaches participants to achieve their financial goals. Cost of the 13-week class is $99.51 per family.

New Life group underway
NEW LIFE, a 7-week support group for those dealing with the pain of separation or divorce, began Wednesday, February 3, but is still open. The class meets from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in J220. Make a health kit for Haiti
Church members are invited to donate health kits for people in Haiti. Each kit should consist of a sealed one-gallon plastic (preferably freezer) bag filled with the following NEW items only. Kits may be brought to church to be sent on to UMCOR, or donations may be made to help provide items in the kits. Those include:

Haiti relief response underway
Our church is currently taking donations for victims of the earthquake in Haiti. They can be mailed to the church or straight to our United Methodist Committee on Relief and 100% will go to meet needs in Haiti. Donations have already totaled over $14,500. Read more......
